Moving on from the Texas Tommy, Ballin’ the Jack, Walking the Dog and Castle Walk of black Broadway composers, and the daring animal dances like The Grizzly Bear, Camel Walk, Bunny Hug, and Fox Trot of the Tin Pan Alley hits and New York cabarets of the ‘teens to the Shimmy-sha-wobble, Charleston, Black Bottom and Truckin’ of the Jazz Age, dancing got real close and hot!
